The ruler of one of the islands had grown a thirst for power, and desired the control that the royal family commanded. And thus, with a mix of dark science and pure evil, they used the power of the islands guardian to give birth to a vile creature which was to be their ultimate warrior; the Aki. As soon as this creature came into creation, it began to create others like itself, as if by instinct. The guardians where contaminated with this evil, and where not able to withstand it. They where seemingly erased from existence. With its “children” gone, the Heart of Scion was not powerful enough to stand against the Aki. Thus, the Scion empire was overrun, and it's Island land destroyed, a blow so shattering to the people, that, afterwards, they decided to forget, rather than face reality. The other islands had no true fighting powers without the guardians, and could not retaliate. And so, the Scion Empire fell out of history, left to legend, if even that. |
